Build a Home for Survivors of Human Trafficking!
I am Chanda, the Founder of DIVAS Who Win Freedom Center. Our mission supporting women survivors of human trafficking was born out of personal desperation when I suspected my 17 year old daughter was in the grips of human traffickers. I was correct in my suspicion, so my family and I frantically grappled for ways to locate and rescue her. By means of miraculous intervention and the work of Recovery, the FBI came to our aide and recovered my child.
She was not found unscathed nor void of trauma, but found nevertheless. It was at the moment of her rescue, that I decided, EVERY parent, coach, care giver, sibling, teacher, should be empowered with anti trafficking awareness and every survivor should have a home & community in which to return.
